Stained Glass Vespers, a unique cross-faith event series at King of Glory Lutheran Church in Dallas, Texas, celebrates the intersection of fine arts and spirituality through the liturgy of evening prayer, also known as Evensong. It provides a contemplative worship space, opens doors to the broader community, and encourages reflection on music, art, and faith.
Inspired by the sanctuary’s stained-glass windows, designed by Cecil Casebier (1922-1996), each event features a different art form, such as music, literature, film, sculpture, painting, architecture, or performance.
